Always wondered about british longhair kitten care

I have an adult british longhair cat and am used to caring for him. However, I wonder if caring for adult and kitten British Longhair cats is the same. How to take care of a british longhair kitten?

1. Do grooming since childhood.
2. Groom the kitten's coat regularly, especially in the spring and fall.
3. Focus on shedding under the armpits and around the back.
